But Where Has Monsieur Sanghak Gone?

Direction: Christophe Delloque
text by Randal Douc
Saturday, September 15, 7:00 pm.
At the Cinema of the Institut français

Mister Sanghak has disappeared. The whole community that surrounds him is worried and mystified.

The show consists of two parts. The first, Gno Gnok (grumbling), is an improvisation developed in the course of the rehearsals. Five characters find themselves on stage with no choice of leaving. Fear, aggressiveness  and group dynamics ensue … until the discovery of the public.

The second part of the play, written by Randal Douk, is inspired by themes developed during the rehearsals, concerning physical disappearance in a society and its repercussions on a group. In the course of this non-realist journey through various social milieus, we meet a pushy journalist, a woman in a position of power, an invasive mother, a karaoke waitress, and some thugs. Amidst all these encounters, a question circulates: who really was Mister Sanghak?
