• Anders Jiras
• Born 8 March 1946. Been a visual person since the first time I could hold a pencil. At age 15 I bought my first SLR Camera, at 16 an enlarger. Held my first photo exhibition in 1965.
• I have since the start been fascinated by man's creativity. So I have aided painters, sculptors, actors and dancers in presenting their art.
• Both early exhibitions 1966-1975 and later ones can be seen at exhibitions.
• I got a photo studio and worked as a commercial photographer from 1975 until 2007, technical work including architecture.
• The dance became an important way for me to see the deeper aspect of man.
• Self-financed since 2005 I have photographed Cambodian dance and performing arts. Which I have been able to show in a solo exhibition of the Royal Ballet of Cambodia in the National Museum in Phnom Penh, 2010 - 2011. And again in 2019.
• Also an exhibition of Cambodian performing arts in the Museum of Dance in Stockholm 2011.
• In 2012 an exhibition at 3:e våningen, Gothenburg, Sweden.
• Also received the Adelberths grant in Gothenburg 2012.
